Southwark Council in Elephant & Castle deal

Tue 7 June 2011, 3:36 pm

Southwark Council has signed an agreement that will see the Elephant and Castle shopping centre refurbished rather than rebuilt.

The agreement was signed with the site’s owner, Key Property Investments, a joint venture between St Modwen and Salhia Real Estate.

The plans will see the exterior of the shopping centre brought up to date.
