An environmental services company expects to have a new integrated waste management facility in Southwark up and running by January.

Veolia Environmental Services is building the £60 million plant on behalf of the London Borough of Southwark through a PFI contract.

The Southwark development is considered by Veolia to be the first inner city facility of its kind in the UK.
