London Bridge revamp plans approved

Southwark Council has approved plans to upgrade London Bridge Station.

The planning committee approved the plans by architecture firm Grimshaw, meaning major work will start in 2013.

The upgrade will include a new concourse, shopping area, the realignment of railway tracks, and a series of canopies.
