Plans by the London School of Economics (LSE) to build an extra three storeys on its Bankside House hall of residence have been approved by Southwark Council.
The scheme, designed by architects, tp bennett, will add 104 extra student bedrooms to the existing 563 rooms.
The building was originally built as an office block, but has been used as a student hall of residence since 1997.
