Plans for Elephant and Castle leisure centre unveiled

Southwark Council has revealed its plans for a new leisure centre at the Elephant and Castle.

The development, which is part of the council’s £1.5 billion regeneration programme, will host a six-lane swimming pool, four sports halls, a gym, spin and dance studios plus a crèche and a café.

The proposals have been designed by architecture firm McAslan & Partners and are on public display as part of a consultation.
