Funding secured for student accommodation development

Student accommodation provider Pure Student Living has secured funding for a 15 million project on Ewer Street in Southwark.

The company is a joint venture between global alternative asset manager the Carlyle Group and Generation Estates.

Investec has provided a development facility for the Pure Bankside development, which will be located close to institutions including  King’s College London and the London School of Economics.

It will provide 150 rooms and will be complete for the 2013 academic year.
