Developer sought for next stage of Aylesbury redevelopment

Southwark Council is seeking a developer to build 3,500 homes on the site of the Aylesbury Estate.

Aylesbury Estate: New plans for 3,500 homes

Demolition on the estate Is now under way, and the first phase of replacement homes has already been developed by housing association L&Q in association with the council.

The next phase of development will provide around 880 homes, with work due to start in 2014.
