Shard: Set to host elevated hotel

The 202-bedroom Shangri-La hotel is due to open in the landmark building at London Bridge station in May next year.

Hotel guests will travel by lift to the hotel, which covers floors 34 to 52 of the 310m building, the tallest in western Europe.

This week, Roka duo Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney, along with Aqua Restaurant Group, were named as the new occupiers of the restaurant space on the three floors below the hotel.
