South Bank Tower proposals grow

Tue 18 June 2013, 12:46 pm

Revised plans have been submitted that would see CIT and Jadwa Investments' South Bank Tower rise in height from 30 to 41 storeys.

The bid seeks to build on Southwark Council's October 2011 permission for the building - formerly known as King’s Reach Tower -  to be increased in height from its current 377 feet to 435 feet, Estates Gazette reported.

The newest tweak would give the building a new height of 509 feet and accommodate a further 18 flats, taking the total for the building to 191.
