DevSecs plans Southwark station development

Development Securities has commissioned architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris to draw up plans for a 250,000 sq feet office and residential development above Southwark Underground Station, according to reports.

Property Week said the firm had extended an option on the Algarve House office block next ot the station and was in talks with Southwark Council and Transport for London over an 0.8 acre masterplan for the site.

It said the plans were believed to involve a 22-storey residential tower and a lower-rise office block.
