US-owned private hospital group HCA has signed up to take three floors of The Shard, according to reports.

The deal, covering 85,197 sq feet at the iconic building - and taking up levels five, six and seven, makes HCA the biggest tenant for Sellar Property Group, industry website CoStar said.

It said Middle Eastern broadcaster Al Jazeera was the building’s first tenant, taking 28,000 sq feet on the 16th floor.
