Several Southwark microbreweries will open their doors to the public next month (August), as part of the first London Beer City event.
The festival, which takes place throughout the capital between 9 and 16 August, will see Southwark breweries run tours and the public meet with the borough’s brewers during events at the King’s Arms in Waterloo.
Microbreweries featured in the last edition of Southwark magazine will take part, including Clarkshaws in East Dulwich.
Ian Clark, director and co-founder of the Clarkshaws brewery, said: “London Beer City will showcase the quality and diversity of the London brewing scene.
“Clarkshaws is really excited to be involved in this celebration of the capital’s best beers.”
