A residential scheme in Southwark has won the Best Completed Scheme category at the Housing Design Awards 2014.
The project on Royal Road (above) forms part of Southwark Council’s Heygate replacement programme.
It includes 96 affordable homes, 76 of which are for target rent and 20 for shared ownership.
The project was delivered with the council’s housing association partner Affinity Sutton and architects Panter Hudspith.
Councillor Mark Williams, the council's cabinet member for transport, planning and regeneration, said: "This is a fantastic recognition of the high quality schemes we are providing for the people of Southwark.
"The Royal Road development is already home to former Aylesbury residents, contributing to rehousing residents in our key regeneration areas and ensuring people can stay close to their communities."
