The News Building development in Southwark is now completely let, with the first journalists and staff preparing to move in.
Media outlets including The Times, Sunday Times, Dow Jones, Wall Street Journal, HarperCollins, HCA and Al Jazeera have all signed for office space in the 17-storey building, located next to The Shard in Southwark.
With new lettings also confirmed within The Shard, it is estimated 12,500 people will be employed at the London Bridge Quarter estate once it is complete. The overall scheme is being developed by Sellar Property and the State of Qatar.
Visitor footfall has also increased to the area with the launch of the Shangri-La hotel within The Shard and with one million people now visiting The View at the site every year.
London Bridge, the fourth busiest transport hub in London, with 50 million passengers annually, now also features a station concourse which links all the buildings.
