A residential development featuring 64 apartments and 914sq m of commercial space is to be built in Trinity Village behind Borough High Street.
Acorn Property Group announced on 15 March 2016 it had obtained planning permission for a new scheme on Harper Road and Swan Street, which is to be developed in partnership with Galliard Homes, Otterlo London and the Corporation of Trinity House.
The apartments will be spread across three buildings, designed by architect Haworth Tompkins.
"This is a rare and exciting opportunity to bring forward an exemplar residential development on this historic estate,” said Acorn’s design director Julian Hampson.
“Trinity Village is a hidden oasis with distinctive architecture surrounded by the urban bustle of Borough. This scheme demonstrates the consortium's experience and skill at mastering complex urban situations and placemaking."
Construction will start during the summer and will be completed in mid-2018.
