Southwark Council has agreed a resolution to grant planning permission to London Square to provide around 20,000sq m of commercial space, an art gallery and 407 flats in Bermondsey.

The scheme to redevelop the Rich Industrial estate on Crimscott Street was approved by the local authority this week, and is now subject to section 106 agreements.

Homes will be developed in buildings of up to nine storeys tall.
