Elefest Festival took place for the first time in the newly opened Elephant Park on 2 September.
The dedicated celebration featured concerts, film screenings, food markets and family friendly activities across Elephant Park, as well as neighbouring Castle Square and live music venue Lost Rivers. Highlights included an opening concert headlined by music legend Don Letts and Alabama 3 Acoustic.
Director and Founder Rob Wray said: “Elefest is more than a festival. It is the celebration of the area’s colourful past and cultural legacy, its present revival and hopes we hold for its future.”
In addition to the concert, movie fans of all ages were treated to a sunset outdoor screening of MGM’s classic film, The Wizard of Oz.
