A historic park in Elephant and Castle will be transformed for a massive outdoor theatre production to be held next month.
The unique show called ZARA created by internationally-renowned theatre company, Mind the Gap, will be held at Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park – home to the Imperial War Museum – and tells the story of a mother protecting her baby.
The production on 10 and 11 May will include a cast of more than 100 actors and will feature a musical score by composer in residence at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Sarah Llewellyn.
There will also be 3D illuminations projected on the museum and it will feature a giant, mechanical baby larger than a double-decker bus.
