A public consultation started this month for residents to share ideas about a new library and heritage centre planned for Walworth Road.
Southwark Council is creating the Southwark Heritage Centre and library in two new units provided by developer Lendlease at its Elephant Park site.
The new centre will feature community meeting spaces, library services (including internet access) and areas for cultural and heritage displays.
It will offer the chance to view art pieces from the Cuming Collection previously housed at Walworth Town Hall, and will also include a rolling programme of heritage exhibitions and educational activities for young people.
Residents can share comments and ideas until May 31 at their local library or online at: https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/planning-and-regeneration/walworth-library-and-southwark-heritage-centre
